Energy Storage Innovation
Smarter, Cleaner, Connected
We design advanced energy storage systems for industrial, commercial, and grid-scale applications. Our solutions go beyond storage capacity combining lithium-ion, lead-acid and emerging chemistries with intelligent features like integrated Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) for smarter, more efficient power control.
Powering Industrial Movement
We' re powering the machines that move the world
We’re shaping the future of electrified logistics and industrial mobility with battery systems engineered for safety, endurance, fast and efficient charging. Our innovations are shaped by the real challenges you face every day. Helping you cut energy costs, keep your fleet running at its best, and hit your sustainability goals. We’re here to accelerate the shift to zero-emission operations without compromising on performance, reliability, or efficiency.
Internet of Things
Energy That Thinks
Our IoT-enabled platforms turn battery systems into connected, self-optimizing assets. Through real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and cloud-based energy management, we help businesses unlock insights, optimize performance, and make smarter energy decisions across their operations.
Sunlight Group's research project is included in the European Battery Innovation
The European Battery Innovation – EuBatIn is an Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI). The scope of the project includes the research and development of battery systems (WS3) that will make use of the lithium-ion cells developed in the first stage of the project (WS2). Total eligible cost € 112, 97 Μ. Grants € 49,9M . The operation is co-financed by the European Union through the “Competitiveness” Programme 2021–2027 of the NSRF, within the framework of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The project concerns Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) as well as the First Industrial Deployment (FID) of innovative lithium batteries. It forms part of an Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI) for the European Battery Innovation (EuBatIn) programme, which aims to meet the needs of a competitive, innovative, and sustainable battery value chain.
The proposed project:
contributes to achieving a common European objective by supporting a value chain of strategic importance for Europe’s future, particularly in relation to clean and low‑emission mobility.
strengthens the development of technologies and processes that go beyond those currently available and are expected to bring significant improvements in performance, safety, and environmental impact.
aligns with the priorities of the National Energy and Climate Plan, which highlights the important role of developing new battery systems based on innovative methods.
