Sunlight Group achieves the first Group ISO Certification across international operations

Sunlight Group, a member of Olympia Group and a technology company, announces the successful completion of its first Group ISO Certification Audit, marking a key milestone in the company’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainability. This achievement is particularly notable as it demonstrates the company's ability to unify complex global operations under a single, rigorous framework, a unique accomplishment for a company of its scale in the energy storage sector. 

Conducted over a 16-day period, through a combination of remote reviews and targeted onsite assessments the audit spanned multiple facilities across six countries: Athens, Xanthi, Komotini, and Kilkis in Greece; Bucharest in Romania; Vignola and San Giorgio di Piano in Italy; Greensboro and Mebane NC, and Dallas TX in the United States; and operations in Spain and Portugal. 

The certification was supported by the Group Integrated Management System (IMS) that provides a centralized framework of documentation and policies covering five international standards, while allowing each entity the flexibility to retain its local specificities based on legislative or customer requirements. Under the Group Certification Scheme, each company was audited according to its operational scope and awarded its own certificate.  

The following Sunlight entities were certified under internationally recognized standards: ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery), and ISO 37301 (Regulatory Compliance). Under the Group Certification Scheme all entities were audited and certified independently according to their activity and operations.
